On behalf of IBSC, it is the Avinor’s pleasure to invite you to attend the 30th IBSC Conference, being held in scenic Stavanger at Sola Strand Hotel, Norway 25 - 29 June, 2012.

We are happy to invite you all to the get together party Monday 25th of June, at the Rica Airport Hotel Stavanger, sponsored by Stavanger Airport.
Tuesdays program focus on different measures of mitigating the risk of birdstrikes, including birdstrike management. The future development of birdstrike hazard mitigation and the organizing of IBSC will be themes Wednesday. Risk assessments, new technology and management presentations during Thursday and Friday, including parallel sessions Thursday afternoon.

Bird strikes continue to occur and are accepted by the aviation industry as a significant threat to flight safety. IBSC aim to improve safety by sharing knowledge and understanding of bird and wildlife management. With this objective in mind, the theme for the 30th IBSC conference is “sharing knowledge between different parts of the industry and different parts of the world”. In keeping with this theme we welcome our industry partners and global friends to take this opportunity to catch up with colleagues and to expand your international networks.
